Alliance for Boys and Men of Color image

The Alliance for Boys and Men of Color is a coalition of change agents advancing policies and systems that benefit boys and young men of color in California. From 2011 to 2012, Alliance members joined the California Assembly Select Committee on the Status of Boys and Men of Color, led by former Assemblymember Sandré Swanson, to organize a series of public hearings, culminating in a comprehensive report and action plan to improve the lives of California’s young men. The California Endowment is a key philanthropic partner.
